Internship - Hydraulic Engineering

Working on various topics within hydraulic engineering

Do you want to be involved in assessing structures, performing geotechnical, structural and hydraulic calculations and contributing your input to smart innovations? As an intern within the hydraulic engineering department of Iv-Infra, you will work on the most prominent and complex projects in the Netherlands, such as the Panama Canal lock gates, a mega deep-sea quay at Maasvlakte 2 or complex dyke reinforcement projects. In addition, you will work with specialists from other disciplines to produce a perfectly integral design. Your work will concern hydraulic structures and important topics such as flood risk management and water systems.

What do we expect of you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic higher vocational/university level (HBO) Civil Engineering student specialising in Hydraulic Engineering or Geo-Engineering who loves technical challenges.
